“Finding Courage”

Courage is found in unlikely places.” J.R.R Tolkien

Life often requires courage to do what one knows must be done. What should law enforcement families have in place for themselves, no matter what life may bring?
Gayle Frink-Schulz from the Behind the Badge Foundation will be presenting “Finding Courage”. She has received numerous awards for her outreach to law enforcement survivors including the Washington State Law Enforcement Medal of Honor Recognition Award. As someone who became a police widow herself in 1993 and then supported families suffering the same loss for over 25 years, this training will take a head-on look at the reality of line of duty death for first responders, and how LEO’s and their families can be as prepared as much as possible for the unthinkable.
